Takeuchi Press Industries Co., Ltd. was founded in 1873 as a hardware store and later became a comprehensive container manufacturer. It produces aluminum tubes, aerosol cans, laminated tubes, resin tubes, and beverage cans. The company is known for its innovative container development, including Japan's first aluminum medicine container and the world's first aluminum bottle can.

Founded in 1873 as Ushijimaya Hardware Store by Takeuchi Sohachi. In 1901, manufactured Japan's first aluminum medicine container. In 1949, reorganized as Takeuchi Press Industries Co., Ltd. In 1956, started aluminum tube production. In 1964, started aluminum aerosol can production. In 1972, started DI-formed aluminum beverage can production. In 2000, developed the world's first aluminum bottle can.
