History
The company traces its roots to 1861 when the Stangengrüner Mühlenbäckerei was established in the village of Stangengrün. In 1953, Manfred Seifert, a miller and master baker, took over the mill bakery in the third generation. In 1972, the GDR government stopped all small mills from milling grain into flour.
