Overview

Inkerman Winery (Инкерманский завод марочных вин) was created in 1961 on the basis of underground workings of building stone – mshelkovy limestone, used for the post-war restoration and construction of the city of Sevastopol. The winery is located in the Sevastopol wine-growing zone on the southwestern coast of the Crimean peninsula. The official website presents various wine collections including sparkling wines, Classic collection, Winemaker's selection, Grand reserve, and others.

History

Inkerman Winery was created in 1961 on the basis of underground workings of building stone – mshelkovy limestone, used for the post-war restoration and construction of the city of Sevastopol. In 1967, a cellar for aging strong and dessert wines was put into operation. In 1980, a research laboratory was created. In 1998, a new high-tech wine bottling complex was launched. In 2001, the trademark INKERMAN was created. In 2004-12, the composition of a large wine-making holding included LLC 'Inkerman Winery', LLC 'Kachinsky +', and JSC 'Agrofirma Chernomorets' – grape and wine farms for growing grapes. A second production site was put into operation.
