Imnauer Mineralquellen

The history of Bad Imnau's springs: Around 1700, Dr. Samuel Caspar noticed small bubbling mineral springs in the Eyach valley. In 1733, the Fürstenquelle was discovered and named after Prince Josef Friedrich von Hohenzollern Sigmaringen, who had the Fürstenbau built in Bad Imnau that same year. In 1905, the Apollo-Quelle was captured by the Papst family and sold the following year to Kommerzienrat Dr. h.c. Carl Haegele. In 1923, the Apollo-Quelle was integrated into Mineralbrunnen Überkingen-Teinach-Ditzenbach AG. In 1990, Mineralbrunnen AG took over the healing and mineral springs of the neighboring 'Mühringer Schlosssprudel'. In January 2010, the Apolloquellen and the Mühringer Schlossquelle were taken over by Fürstenquellen Bad Imnau GmbH. Before bottling the Apollo and Mühringer brands could begin, the springs had to be connected to the production facilities of the Imnauer Fürstenquelle using horizontal directional drilling under state road L360.
