Iceberg Quantum is a quantum architecture company. It designs fault-tolerant architectures based on LDPC codes that reduce the hardware overhead for quantum error correction by over an order of magnitude. Iceberg Quantum was introduced on March 25, 2025, with a $2M pre-seed round from Blackbird and LocalGlobe, and a partnership with PsiQuantum. On July 17, 2025, the company announced a partnership with Oxford Ionics on an LDPC-based fault-tolerant architecture for trapped ions. On August 1, 2025, it announced a partnership with Diraq to accelerate the path to useful quantum computing with spin qubits. On October 13, 2025, it announced 'Fast Surgery', a method for compressing time overhead in fault-tolerant quantum computing with LDPC codes. On November 21, 2025, it announced 'Modular and Efficient Surgery', new explicit constructions enabling practical, low-overhead gates on LDPC codes. On February 13, 2026, it announced a new fault-tolerant architecture with 10x lower overhead and a $6M Seed round.
