Overview
Edge Spectrum (ESI) is building a new nationwide wireless network to transform broadcast television into a user-defined, wireless, broadband data and entertainment delivery service. It operates a UHF content distribution platform and provides services to content owners and broadcasters transitioning to ATSC 3.0.
History
The founders of ESI have been working to transform the world's wireless and media distribution infrastructure for over two decades. They helped develop many core technologies for LTE and 5G networks. For the past ten years, they have worked to protect and enhance the Low Power Television (LPTV) sector. The recent completion of the Voluntary Incentive Auction (VIA) has stabilized channel assignments in the broadcast television spectrum.
