Eco Femme

Eco Femme is a women-led social enterprise founded in 2010, producing and selling organic washable cloth pads and nappy products. Its work focuses on revitalizing menstrual practices that are healthy, affordable, dignified, and environmentally sustainable. The enterprise also engages in menstrual health education and runs an impactful social enterprise.

Eco Femme was founded in 2010. The founders, Kathy and Jessamijn, met in 2009. Kathy began stitching her own cloth pads after moving to India and being confronted with having to bury her used pads. Jessamijn has a background in Rural Development and Livelihood projects.
