Domaine Ogier

Maison Ogier is a wine house founded in 1859 and installed in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in the heart of the most prestigious appellation of southern France. It produces wines from the terroirs of this AOC and the wider Rhône Valley, with cellars in the village holding more than 8,000 hL of wooden vats, foudres, demi-muids, barrels and truncated-cone tanks. Its range seeks to combine diversity of soils, climates and grape varieties while maintaining balance, straightness and precision in each wine, illustrated on the label by the red "I". The range includes La Confluence Blanc and La Confluence Rouge from Cairanne.

To interpret the subtle variations of the terroirs of this AOC and the entire Rhône Valley, Ogier deepened its knowledge of the soil types present in the different appellations and adapted its work, notably its élevages, accordingly. Its century-old cellars, in the heart of the village, house more than 8,000 hL of wooden vats, foudres, demi-muids, barrels and truncated-cone tanks.
