Desert Financial Credit Union

Desert Financial Credit Union is a not-for-profit credit union founded in 1939 by fifteen Valley educators who pooled $78.75 to start it. It offers consumer banking products including Free Checking, savings, certificates, auto loans, mortgages and HELOCs, and operates nearly 50+ branches statewide with access to more than 30,000+ surcharge-free ATMs in the Co-op network. It is the official retail banking partner of Arizona State University. In 2025 it reached a milestone of 500,000 members and gave $4.7 million to nonprofit partners.
