Zujiandao was founded on 18 March 1991 in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, China. In 1992, the company rented an old factory building in Luoshan, Huizhou, to begin manufacturing machinery. In 1993, it invested in building its first own factory in Chenjiang Town, Huizhou. In 1996, it established Ningbo Zujiandao International Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd., which became the core manufacturing base for brewing equipment. Over the following decades, the company expanded its product lines and capabilities. It developed a full range of brewing equipment including brewhouse systems, large fermentation and bright beer tanks, cold block and filtration systems, and yeast handling. It also expanded into packaging machinery through Nanjing Zujiandao Filltech Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd., which after nearly 10 years of development offers glass bottle, can and keg packaging lines. In 2013, Luzhou Runda Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded (originating from Xunda Machinery Factory in Longmatan District, Luzhou). Zujiandao International later formed a joint venture with Luzhou Runda, creating Luzhou Zujiandao Runda Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., located in the Luzhou High-tech Zone (Gulin) poverty alleviation industrial park in Jiangyang District, Luzhou, Sichuan. This joint venture focuses on intelligent brewing production lines for the baijiu industry. The company has grown from a private enterprise into a joint-stock company, with more than 100 core employees becoming shareholders. It has established subsidiaries and service centers in Brazil, Mexico, Ethiopia, Nigeria and India, supporting its global turnkey projects. The company emphasizes its "European quality, Chinese price" philosophy and has obtained TRACE international anti-bribery certification, as well as Sedex and SGS audits for social responsibility.
