Overview

Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery Co., Ltd. (Yinlun) is a Chinese private joint-stock listed company specializing in the research, development, manufacture and sale of thermal management and exhaust aftertreatment products. Its origins trace back to 1958, when its predecessor, the state-owned Tiantai Machinery Factory, was established in Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province, initially producing agricultural machinery, well-drilling and grab machines to support local agriculture. In 1999 the factory completed ownership reform and was reorganized as Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery Co., Ltd., becoming a 100% private joint-stock company. In 2007 the company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the first private listed company in China's heat exchanger industry. Yinlun organizes its business around four product platforms: commercial vehicle and off-road thermal management, passenger vehicle and new energy thermal management, engine aftertreatment, and industrial and civil heat exchange. Its product lines include oil coolers (stainless steel and aluminum), EGR coolers and valves, commercial vehicle and construction machinery cooling modules, air-conditioning and heat pump systems, battery thermal management, and exhaust aftertreatment systems. The company serves major OEM customers including Cummins, Caterpillar, Daimler, John Deere, Mann+Hummel, Perkins, ZF, Volvo, Kubota, MTU, DEUTZ, CNH, Weichai, Yuchai, FAW Jiefang, XCMG, Sany, Liugong, Ford, GM, Great Wall, Geely, CATL, GAC, SAIC, Changan and Chery. With the "four internationalizations" strategy — international talent, products, factories and management — Yinlun has built three strategic development anchors in China, North America and Europe, and operates more than 40 wholly owned and controlled subsidiaries worldwide. It has production bases in Hubei, Shandong, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Guangxi and Chongqing in China, and has established European and North American operations. Its customers are spread across more than 40 countries and regions including North America, Europe and the Middle East. Yinlun is recognized as a national manufacturing single-champion cultivation enterprise, a national high-tech enterprise, and the lead drafting unit for heat exchanger industry standards under the National Internal Combustion Engine Standardization Technical Committee. Its heat exchanger production and sales volume has ranked among the top of the domestic industry for more than a decade. The company has completed its first entrepreneurial phase (1999–2018), during which revenue exceeded RMB 5 billion, and entered its second entrepreneurial phase (2019–2038), aiming to become a world-class excellent enterprise in the thermal management field.

History

Yinlun's history begins in 1958, when its predecessor, the state-owned Tiantai Machinery Factory, was established in a small workshop on Chicheng Road in Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province, during China's Great Leap Forward. The factory initially produced agricultural machinery, well-drilling machines and grab machines to support agriculture, and was entrusted by the county with the responsibility of industrial development. In 1999, Tiantai Machinery Factory completed ownership reform and was reorganized as Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery Co., Ltd., becoming a 100% private joint-stock company. This marked the beginning of what the company calls its first entrepreneurial phase (1999–2018). In 2007, the company successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the first private listed company in China's heat exchange industry. By 2018, revenue exceeded RMB 5 billion, completing the first entrepreneurial phase. In 2019, Yinlun entered its second entrepreneurial phase (2019–2038), aiming to expand its global vision, enhance international capabilities, deepen institutional reform, strengthen technology development, adjust product structure and innovate business models. The company adopted a "four internationalizations" strategy — international talent, products, factories and management — and built three strategic development anchors in China, North America and Europe. It now has more than 40 wholly owned and controlled subsidiaries worldwide. Over the years, Yinlun has formed four product platforms: commercial vehicle and off-road thermal management, passenger vehicle and new energy thermal management, engine aftertreatment, and industrial and civil heat exchange. Its commercial vehicle and off-road heat exchange division was established in October 2018 through the merger of the original engine cooling product division and cooling module product division. The passenger vehicle platform Tiantai base was established in July 2019, originating from an aluminum oil cooler workshop founded in 2004. The engine aftertreatment division develops and manufactures aftertreatment products for diesel and gas engines, with research institutes and expert teams in the United States, Germany, Shanghai and Hangzhou. The company continues to pursue its vision of becoming a respected excellent enterprise in the thermal management field.
