Xiao-i Robot sues Apple over Siri patent

Xiao-i Robot filed a lawsuit against Apple at the Shanghai Higher People's Court, alleging that Siri infringed its patent. The company sought an order to stop the alleged infringement and RMB 10 billion in compensation. The dispute concerns patent claims related to Siri, Apple's voice assistant. 8月3日，小i机器人（上海智臻智能网络科技股份有限公司）正式向上海市高级人民法院提起诉讼，要求苹果公司停止Siri（智能助理）专利侵权，并索赔人民币100亿元。
Not only is it asking for around $1.43 billion in damages, it also wants Apple to stop selling products that use Siri, which is pretty much all of its products sold in China outside of accessories.
Now Shanghai Zhizhen is suing Apple, alleging that the US company's Siri infringes on this newly-awarded patent.
