Its work covers six main global WWF areas — Seas, Biodiversity, Freshwater, Climate & Energy, Forests, and Food & Agriculture — along with related topics such as Education and Plastics. It aims to counter human-caused problems including habitat destruction, climate change, overconsumption of natural resources, pollution, and illegal hunting, in order to stop threats that lead to shrinking natural habitats and species loss.
