Overview

Woltair is a Czech company that supplies heat pumps and, since 2021, also photovoltaic solutions. It was founded in 2018 as Topíte.cz, originally a digital comparison platform and database of tradespeople. Over time it expanded into consulting, arranging financing and subsidies, and the installation and servicing of equipment. The company also supplied charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. In late July 2025 the company filed for insolvency. The company was founded in 2018 by heating specialists Karel Náprstek and Jiří Švéda together with Daniel Helcl. In the summer of 2019 the firm had about 30 employees. In autumn 2019, Enern, owned by entrepreneurs Petr Šmída, Tomáš Čupr, Pavel Mucha and Radovan Nesrsta, invested CZK 10 million in Topíte.cz, increasing its stake to nearly 37 percent. Presto Ventures, owned by Tomáš Krsek, also invested CZK 10 million and acquired approximately a fifteen percent stake. The founders Švéda, Náprstek and Helcl thus lost their majority share. In 2021 the company changed its name from Topíte.cz to Woltair. At the same time it expanded its team with the team of Rewix Elektro, thereby beginning to offer products in the field of photovoltaics and charging infrastructure. In 2021 the company entered the Polish market. In August 2022 Jan Hanuš, previously executive director of Mall Group, took over the leadership of the company. In the same year the company opened a training centre in Prague-Zličín. It is a member of the Guild of Heating Engineers and the Guild of Accumulation and Photovoltaics.
