Werner Peiskar - koi-elements

Werner Peiskar - koi-elements is an Austrian specialist business focused on koi keeping and the construction of koi ponds and swimming ponds. It operates from Neufeldstrasse 11 in Lustenau, in the Vorarlberg region of Austria, and is led by Werner Peiskar, who is identified on the company's website as its managing director (Geschäftsführer). The business presents itself as a destination for everything needed for a koi pond, combining the sale of koi and koi-related supplies with pond construction services. The company's website frames the venture around the personal passion of its founder. Werner Peiskar describes himself as a long-time koi enthusiast, noting that in Japan such people are jokingly called "KOI-KICHI," meaning roughly "koi-crazy." This enthusiast identity is central to the brand's positioning: it is a small, owner-run specialist rather than a large retail chain, and it speaks directly to hobbyists who want expert advice and access to koi varieties. In terms of offering, koi-elements highlights koi species and its own koi stock, alongside the broader range of products needed for a koi pond. The site also states that the business has moved away from a traditional shop with fixed opening hours. Instead, it operates by telephone appointment throughout the year, from January to December, and continues to take orders and hold stock. At the time of the website text, the company said it was concentrating on the construction of koi ponds and swimming ponds. Because the business is small and owner-operated, public information is limited mainly to its own website and a Wikidata entry. It does not appear to be part of a larger corporate group, and no parent company or stock listing is indicated. Its market is local and regional, centered on Austria and the surrounding area, serving koi hobbyists and pond owners who need either livestock, supplies, or professional pond-building work.

Werner Peiskar - koi-elements is a small Austrian business built around the personal enthusiasm of its founder, Werner Peiskar. According to the company's website, Peiskar has been an avid koi lover for many years. He notes that in Japan people with this passion are affectionately called "KOI-KICHI," a term meaning something like "koi-crazy." This personal background is the origin story the brand tells: it began as an enthusiast's pursuit and grew into a specialist operation serving other koi keepers. The business is based in Lustenau, in Austria's Vorarlberg region, at Neufeldstrasse 11. It presents itself as a source for everything needed for a koi pond, offering koi varieties and koi stock as well as the supplies and services associated with pond keeping. Over time, the company's focus shifted toward construction work. Its website states that it no longer runs a shop with regular opening hours; instead, it operates by telephone appointment from January to December, while still taking orders and keeping stock. At the time of that website text, the company said it was concentrating on building koi ponds and swimming ponds. Because it is a small, owner-operated enterprise, there is little public record beyond its own website and a Wikidata entry. No founding date, corporate parent, or stock listing is given in the available evidence. The brand's identity remains closely tied to Werner Peiskar himself, who is listed as managing director and is the primary contact for the business.
