Watermill Express

Watermill Express is an American company that operates a network of automated drive-up refill stations where customers fill their own containers with purified drinking water and ice. The brand positions itself around speed, convenience, affordability and sustainability: filling your own bottles saves money and reduces plastic waste, while each location is fully automated and monitored 24/7 for quality and purity. The company filters and purifies its water, and its stations are serviced daily by route service technicians who follow strict maintenance schedules, including filter replacement. Water quality is tested by state-certified labs and through an internal computerized monitoring system. Reverse osmosis is highlighted as a key purification technology that removes impurities and contaminants by forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane. Beyond the refill stations, Watermill Express sells an assortment of high-quality water containers and accessories through its online store, including 5-gallon, 5-gallon-with-spigot, 3-gallon and 1-gallon bottles, as well as bundles. The store is powered by Shopify, and customers need to create a new account to make purchases. The company describes itself as reinventing how people access affordable, sustainable, safe drinking water and ice. The brand is aimed at households and families seeking an alternative to buying bottled water, offering a drive-up, self-service experience at locations across its operating markets. Its model combines a physical network of refill stations with a direct-to-consumer e-commerce channel for reusable containers and accessories. Watermill Express is a private company; specific details about its founding, headquarters, ownership and leadership are not provided in the available evidence.
