WAFIOS

WAFIOS is a German machinery manufacturer focused on wire and tube processing. Its name derives from its founders Ernst Wagner, Hans Ficker and Otto Schmid. Ernst Wagner started a small mechanical workshop in Pfullingen in 1893; Hans Ficker joined as a commercial partner in 1910; and in 1914 the competing operations Wagner & Ficker Maschinenfabrik and Otto Schmid of Stuttgart merged to form the united machine factories for wire processing, Wagner & Ficker and Otto Schmid — WAFIOS. The company offers spring-making machines, wire and tube bending machines, straightening machines, and related equipment, along with services including spare parts, tools, training, retrofit and maintenance software.
