Wackler Holding SE is a German facility services company headquartered in Munich. Founded in 1909 by Friedrich Wackler as a window-cleaning business, the company has grown over four generations into one of Germany's leading building services providers. Today the Wackler Group operates through five subsidiaries and maintains 44 locations across Germany, employing around 8,300 people. Its service portfolio spans building cleaning, facility management, security and reception services, cleaning and service robotics, personnel leasing and recruitment, as well as climate protection and ESG consulting with associated software. The group is structured as a multi-brand holding. Wackler Service Group handles building cleaning, facility management and security services. RoboPlanet provides integrated solutions for service and cleaning robotics. Wackler Personal-Service offers temporary staffing and recruitment. ConClimate advises companies on sustainability strategies and ESG management, while Substain delivers a software-as-a-service solution for ESG requirements. The company describes itself as combining operational excellence with human values, and it markets itself on reliability, certified quality and innovation. Wackler has been active in sustainable cleaning since 2005 and became the first climate-neutral company among Germany's leading building services providers in 2018. Its Green Clean concept, using ecological cleaning agents and low-emission, low-consumption equipment, has been offered to all customers at no extra cost since 2023. The company is six-fold certified and serves more than 1,000 customers nationwide. It also publishes a quarterly Facility Services economic index in cooperation with Lünendonk & Hossenfelder and other partners. Ownership remains in family hands, and the company is led by CEO Peter Blenke, who consolidated the family businesses under the Wackler umbrella brand in 2008. Friedrich Peter Wackler, a long-time driving force, received the Bundesverdienstkreuz in 2013 and the Mérite Européen in silver in 2020. The group continues to expand its portfolio, most recently with the founding of Substain GmbH and RoboPlanet GmbH in 2024.

The history of Wackler Holding begins on 12 June 1909, when Friedrich Wackler (1876–1967) opened a window-cleaning business in Munich. In 1934 the operation was renamed "Allgemeine Reinigungsanstalt Bavaria," and building cleaning was recognized as a full trade by the state. In 1938, the founder's son Friedrich Wackler (1913–1978) joined the business, and the service range expanded to include floor and facade cleaning. After the destruction of all Munich office and storage spaces in 1945, the "Reinigungsanstalt Bavaria" was re-registered. In 1949 the business was renamed "Die Münchner Heinzelmännchen." In 1968, with the acquisition of "Central Gebäudereinigung" in Frankfurt am Main, the company group was formed, and Friedrich P. Wackler (born 1945) took over management. In 1990 Wackler acquired Omniclean in Chemnitz, formerly part of the Dienstleistungs-Kombinat Karl-Marx-Stadt. In 1991 City Clean (later Wackler Facility Management) was founded in Munich. In 1998 Certas Security (later Wackler Security) was established in Chemnitz. In 2005 the company decided to build a new business field around environmentally and climate-friendly cleaning, investing in new techniques and processes that enabled further growth. In 2008 the family-owned businesses were consolidated under the umbrella brand Wackler by current CEO Peter Blenke. In 2009 Wackler Holding SE was founded, followed in 2010 by the establishment of Wackler Personal-Service GmbH. At the end of 2013, Friedrich Peter Wackler received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundesverdienstkreuz) for his entrepreneurial and professional commitment to the building cleaning trade. In 2015 the company bundled all Wackler sub-brands under a single logo (WACKLER). In 2018 Wackler became the first climate-neutral company among Germany's leading building services providers. Under the name Green Clean®, Wackler markets a sustainable cleaning concept using ecological cleaning agents and low-emission, low-consumption cleaning equipment, which has been offered to all customers at no extra cost since 2023. In 2020 Wackler expanded its service portfolio with the launch of ConClimate. In 2024 Wackler further expanded its offering with the founding of Substain GmbH and RoboPlanet GmbH. On 12 May 2020, Friedrich Peter Wackler was awarded the "Mérite Européen" in silver by the Luxembourg foundation Fondation du Mérite Européen. The company today operates 44 branches nationwide and employs around 8,300 people.
