W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.

W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. markets Case-branded knives through caseknives.com, offering folding pocket knives such as the Mini Trapper, Sod Buster Jr, Trapper, Peanut, and Ridgeback Hunter, along with knife care items, apparel, and accessories. The company also runs the Case Collectors Club, described as the premier association for knife collectors and enthusiasts worldwide, which offers exclusive limited knife promotions, collectables, and branded merchandise, and publishes The Case Collector.

The Case Collectors Club traces its origins to Dewey Ferguson, an avid Case knife collector, who wrote to Case President Bob Farquharson about forming a knife collectors association for W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company. The club was established in 1981 with yearly membership dues of $10, and the first edition of its quarterly newsletter was introduced in March of that year with eight pages printed in black ink, expanding to twelve pages by year's end. The first CCC club knife, an Appaloosa Bone Large Trapper pattern not made since the 1940s, was introduced on June 1st, carrying an embellished Clip blade with artwork noting it was the first edition; it was sold for a suggested retail of $40 through Case Authorized Dealers.
