Founded by Hugo Vogelsang as a sawmill in 1929, it now specializes in technically high-quality machines in the fields of agricultural technology, biogas, industry, infrastructure and wastewater. In January 2025 the management team was restructured and expanded.

Effective September 1, 2026, Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG entered into a strategic joint venture in the field of slurry applicators with the Slovenian agricultural machinery manufacturer BeTEC.
