Villeroy & Boch

Villeroy & Boch is a German home and lifestyle brand whose history dates to 1748. Its roots lie in ceramics production founded by François Boch. The business later developed into a company associated with both tableware and bathroom products. The brand combines traditional craft associations with contemporary design and presents itself across living and dining, kitchen, and bathroom settings. Its product range includes porcelain dinnerware and other tableware, bathroom ceramics, bathroom fittings, and kitchen sinks. The Greek-language market is served through the Villeroy & Boch GR website, which presents products and inspiration for customers in Greece. The supplied Greek-site homepage highlights collections including Skyla, La Boule, Vea, Manufacture, and NewMoon, as well as butler sinks and bathroom taps and fittings. La Boule is presented as an ornamental porcelain sphere that separates into a seven-piece dinnerware set for two. The site also provides bathroom planning and advice. The brand is associated with Villeroy & Boch AG, a German company headquartered in Mettlach, Saarland. Villeroy & Boch AG is publicly listed. The evidence supplied here does not identify a current chief executive or provide detailed ownership information beyond the company association. The brand remains active, with the Greek website featuring both tableware and bathroom offerings and announcing newer bathroom products such as Vea and Supreo.

Villeroy & Boch traces its beginnings to 1748, when François Boch established a ceramics business. The company's history developed through the production and sale of ceramic goods, eventually encompassing both tableware and bathroom products. Over time, the name became associated with a broad home and lifestyle offering rather than a single product category. Today, Villeroy & Boch presents products for dining, kitchens, and bathrooms. Its ranges include porcelain tableware, bathroom ceramics, bathroom fittings, and kitchen sinks. The brand's product storytelling places emphasis on design, materials, comfort, and functional use. Collections shown on the Greek website include La Boule, Skyla, Vea, Manufacture, and NewMoon. La Boule is described as an ornamental porcelain sphere that separates into seven individual components to form a dinnerware set for two. The site also promotes bathroom planning advice and products intended to support everyday bathroom routines. Villeroy & Boch AG is headquartered in Mettlach in Germany's Saarland and is publicly listed. The Greek-language website at villeroy-boch.gr is a localized commercial presence for the brand, with product categories spanning living and dining, kitchen, and bathroom. Its September 2024 new-products page featured Vea and Supreo bathroom offerings. The evidence provided does not establish further dated corporate milestones, current executive appointments, or detailed changes in ownership; those details are therefore not specified here.
