History
The VWB-Verlag was founded in 1988 by Amand Aglaster. Since then, this publishing house has been active with well over 700 titles. In 2022, for private reasons, the idea arose to cease publishing activities at the end of the year and to pulp all remaining copies. Together with brother Rolf Aglaster, the idea was offered to move the publisher with a remaining stock of books (many had to be remaindered before) to Aachen and to continue the business from there from the beginning of 2023. Rolf Aglaster is a career changer in the publishing industry but has longer experience in online marketing. With the advisory help of the brother, a successful start into a further future of VWB could be made. Some new titles have since been added to the program.
