Vall Banc

Vall Banc is a bank based in Escaldes-Engordany, in the Principality of Andorra. It is a member of the Association of Andorran Banks. The institution was established on 15 June 2015 when the Andorran State Bank Resolution Agency (AREB) allocated the assets of Banca Privada d'Andorra (BPA) to the newly created entity. In 2016, Vall Banc was taken over by JC Flowers & Co., an investment firm headquartered in New York. In January 2021, the bank expanded into Spain with the acquisition of Argenta Patrimonios, a Barcelona-based financial advisory firm that advises clients in Catalonia, Madrid and the Basque Country with more than 100 million euros per year. In September 2021, the bank announced that it was initiating the final process for the transfer of BPA's assets, implementing a Swiss court ruling that allowed AREB to claim the positions held by BPA and transfer them to Vall Banc. On 27 September 2021, Crèdit Andorrà announced the acquisition of 100% of Vall Banc. The bank operates primarily in Andorra and Spain, serving private and corporate clients.

On 27 September 2021, Crèdit Andorrà announced the acquisition of 100% of Vall Banc, making it part of the Crèdit Andorrà group.
