History

UT Group's origins lie in the April 1995 establishment of Aim CIC Co., Ltd. In 2001 it launched the 'Shi no Kai' and established an employee shareholding association covering all employees including dispatched staff. In October 2012 UT Life Support Co., Ltd. was established. In July 2013 it acquired 81% of Panasonic Battery Engineering shares, renamed UT Pavec Co., Ltd. In 2014 it introduced a group internal job-change system and integrated UT i-com and UT Revive into UT Aim. In March 2015 it acquired System Revolution Co., Ltd.; in July 2015 it changed its trade name to UT Group Co., Ltd. and began 'One UT' and 'Next UT'; in October 2015 UT Leading became UT Technology Co., Ltd., UT Construction Network became UT Construction Co., Ltd., and System Revolution became UT System Co., Ltd. In 2016 it announced its third medium-term management plan 'Create jobs across all of Japan,' made Atex Co., Ltd. a subsidiary, established UT Global Co., Ltd. and UTHP Co., Ltd., and made Forward Co., Ltd. a subsidiary. In 2017 it made Tight Work Co., Ltd. and LEI HAU' OLI Co., Ltd. subsidiaries.
