History

Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan was founded in 2002. Its origins trace back to the noble aspirations of KH. M. Saalih Bahruddin, known as Kyai Sholeh, who envisioned a higher education institution integrated with a boarding education system. In 1979, he established Pondok Pesantren Darut Taqwa, also known as 'Ngalah'. In 1994, Kyai Sholeh initiated the organization of the distant class of STAIP (Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Pasuruan) for the Islamic Religious Education study program.
