Universidad Señor de Sipán

Universidad Señor de Sipán (USS) is a private higher education institution located in Chiclayo, Peru. It was founded on 5 July 1999 by the National Council for the Authorization and Operation of Universities (CONAFU) under resolution No. 575-99-CONAFU. The university began operations in April 2000 with five professional programs. Today it has four faculties and 25 professional programs, serving a student population of 19,937 in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with 826 faculty members. USS offers a range of academic programs, including a modality for working adults aged 24 and over with at least two years of work experience, and a postgraduate school offering master's degrees and diplomas. Its main campus is located at km. 5 on the Chiclayo-Pimentel highway, with additional offices in Chiclayo. The university is regularly ranked in the middle third of Peruvian universities in international rankings.
