Overview

Unisol Holdings Corporation is a Japanese holding company headquartered in Chuo-ku, Osaka. It was established on October 1, 2021, through a joint share transfer between Furusato Kogyo Co., Ltd., a construction materials trading company, and Maruka Corporation, a machinery and tools trading company. On January 1, 2026, the company changed its trade name to Unisol Holdings Corporation. It is a member of the Midorikai and belongs to the Sanwa Group. The Unisol brand was created from the shared values of Furusato Kogyo and Maruka. The name combines "UNIQUE" and "SOLUTIONS," expressing the intention to fuse the knowledge and technical capabilities of the two companies to provide optimal, one-of-a-kind solutions to customers' diverse and complex challenges. Along with the brand, the group established a slogan, "『その手があったか』を、次々と。" (roughly, "One clever solution after another"), and a vision, "『叶えたい』が、あふれる社会へ。" ("Toward a society overflowing with 'I want to make it happen'"), as well as missions and values. The group operates through several business segments. The machinery and tools business includes Maruka Corporation, G-Net Corporation, Gifu Shoko Co., Ltd., Sonoluca Engineering Co., Ltd., Kansetsu Co., Ltd. and Miyazawa Co., Ltd. The construction materials business is centered on Furusato Kogyo Co., Ltd. The construction machinery business includes Japan Rental Co., Ltd. Its self-developed product "Fulbrace" holds the number one market share. The group positions itself as a technology trading company that solves on-site manufacturing challenges by combining accumulated technology, a rich product lineup and networks. It provides unique solutions such as introducing AI to production sites to shorten programming time and address labor shortages, and proposing innovative equipment to address bridge aging while maintaining aesthetics. Its mission is "感動提案で今を拓き、変化の先まで伴走する" (opening the present through moving proposals and accompanying customers beyond change). Unisol Holdings is also active in sustainability and social contribution. It has defined four priority areas: environmental conservation, community contribution, next-generation development and social-issue-solving technology. Activities include employee-participatory satoyama conservation, sponsorship of the volleyball team Astemo Rivale Ibaraki and the rugby team Kobelco Kobe Steelers, donation of an autonomous mobile robot to Akashi National College of Technology, and participation since fiscal 2023 in the Nozzle Tip Activity promoted by the Japan Steel Structure Industry Association Youth Division, which recycles used welding nozzles and tips and donates wheelchairs.

History

Unisol Holdings Corporation was established on October 1, 2021, as Furusato Maruka Holdings Corporation through a joint share transfer between Furusato Kogyo Co., Ltd., a construction materials trading company, and Maruka Corporation, a machinery and tools trading company. On the same day, its shares were listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The company is a member of the Midorikai and belongs to the Sanwa Group. The origin of the integration dates back to 2017, when the headquarters of Maruka (now Unisol) moved to a location just 300 meters from Furusato Kogyo. This proximity fostered exchanges between the management teams. A shared sense of crisis that diversified social issues could not be tackled alone, and a realization of shared values, led to the conviction that they might be the best partners to work together. In October 2021, the management integration gave birth to Furusato Maruka Holdings Corporation (now Unisol Holdings Corporation), a technology trading company fusing each other's strengths. The Unisol brand was created from the shared values of the two companies. The name combines "UNIQUE" and "SOLUTIONS," expressing the intention to provide optimal "one-of-a-kind solutions" to customers' diverse and complex challenges by fusing the knowledge and technical capabilities of the two companies.
