Unión Editorial

Unión Editorial is a Spanish publishing house based in Madrid that has specialized since 1973 in books favorable to the market economy and the liberal philosophy underpinning it. One of its first activities was obtaining permission from Friedrich Hayek to translate and publish his complete works in Spanish, a task carried out over the years. Today it holds titles by major Austrian School economists such as Carl Menger, Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, Henry Hazlitt, Murray Rothbard, Israel Kirzner, and contemporary authors including Jesús Huerta de Soto, Roger W. Garrison, Hans Hermann Hoppe, Thomas DiLorenzo, Carlos Rodríguez Braun, Lorenzo Infantino, Gabriel J. Zanotti, Oscar Vara, and Adrián Ravier. In recent years it has begun a process of expansion to reach more readers through institutional agreements with bookstores and institutions in various Latin American countries. In Argentina it also publishes under the imprint Ediciones Barbarroja.
