Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru!

Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru! (roughly "My Maid Is Too Annoying!") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kanko Nakamura. It is published by Futabasha and serialized in the publisher's manga lineup, with the first collected volume released on January 12, 2017 and the tenth and final volume released on March 9, 2023. The series is a home comedy centered on Misha Takanashi, a young Russian-Japanese elementary school girl who has lost her mother and lives with her father, and Tsubame Kamoi, a former Air Self-Defense Force member turned housekeeper whose muscular physique and extreme fondness for little girls make her a comically overbearing presence in the household. The brand encompasses the core manga volumes, an official anthology volume released on November 12, 2018, and a completion commemorative bonus illustration collection distributed on March 9, 2023. The property is promoted through a dedicated Futabasha special site and official social media accounts, including an official X (formerly Twitter) account for the series and one for the author. The series has also been adapted into an anime television series, extending the brand beyond print into animation and related merchandise. The manga is positioned as a "heartwarming-less" home comedy, a humorous twist on the domestic comedy genre driven by the eccentric maid character. Its audience is the Japanese manga readership, and the property is distributed through Japanese online bookstores and retail channels. The brand is owned and managed by Futabasha, a private Japanese publishing house based in Tokyo. The series concluded with its tenth volume in 2023, but the property remains active through its anime adaptation, collected editions, and ongoing fan engagement.
