Overview
TSG IT Advanced Systems Ltd. is an Israeli public company that develops advanced technological solutions for defense, civilian, and municipal sectors. Its origins trace back to 1975, when the TSG division was established within Techm – Advanced Technology, one of Israel's first software houses. After passing through Ness Technologies as Ness TSG, the activity became an independent company in 1999 under the name Nastec Advanced Technologies (1999) Ltd. The company changed its name several times and adopted its current name, TSG IT Advanced Systems Ltd., in September 2019. In January 2016, the company was sold in equal parts to Formula Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries for $50 million. In July 2024, TSG IT Advanced Systems held its initial public offering on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange at a pre-money valuation of 400 million shekels. The company provides multi-mission systems for defense forces, including air defense, naval defense, intelligence systems, and command-and-control centers. It also serves civilian and municipal clients with smart-city platforms, emergency management systems, and customer service centers. TSG is the sole gold partner in Israel of Genesys, a global company specializing in cloud-based customer service centers. Its systems are used by the Israel Defense Forces, Israel Police, the Prime Minister's Office, the Israel Airports Authority, foreign militaries and security agencies, and local municipalities. In 2023, approximately 70% of the company's revenues came from the defense market and about 30% from the civilian market. TSG has won several Israel Security Awards, including in 2005 for participation in developing an advanced visual intelligence system and more recently for the "Migdal Esh" system installed on Israeli Air Force "Tzofit" aircraft. The company has led hundreds of turnkey projects in the defense sector. Its subsidiaries include EPR Systems (municipal software), Bar Technologies (real estate and urban planning information systems), and A.S.D. Asset Management. TSG continues to expand through acquisitions, including ARTS (electronic testing systems) and Puzzle (project management) in late 2024, and A.S.D. Asset Management in October 2025.
History
TSG IT Advanced Systems traces its roots to 1975, when the TSG division was established within Techm – Advanced Technology, one of Israel's first software houses. Techm included software development activities for the Israeli defense establishment. When Ness Technologies was formed as a merger of Techm and other software houses, the defense-related activity was included in the Ness TSG division. In June 1999, this division became a subsidiary of Ness Technologies named Nastec Advanced Technologies (1999) Ltd. The company changed its name several times until September 2019, when it adopted its current name, TSG IT Advanced Systems Ltd. In 2005, a team from the company won the Israel Security Award for its participation in "the development of a technologically most advanced visual intelligence system with unique capabilities in counter-terrorism warfare." In June 2014, the main activity of Ness in Israel, concentrated in Ness A.T., was acquired by Helan. The deal did not include Ness-TSG, which changed its name to TSG IT Advanced Systems and in January 2016 was sold to Formula Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries in equal parts for $50 million. Boaz Levy was appointed chairman. Michael Zinderman, who had served as CEO for years prior to the acquisition, continued in the role after the acquisition. In July 2021, Arik Kilman replaced him. In June 2017, the company was among the winners of a Ministry of Defense tender, the largest IT tender in IDF history, to copy and unify IDF computing infrastructure into data centers in the Beersheba area. During the Iron Swords War, additional projects under development were revealed, including a system to help deal with the drone threat and the "Migdol Esh" system, which also won the Israel Security Award and is installed on Israeli Air Force "Tzofit" aircraft. On July 30, 2024, the company's shares were listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange at a pre-money valuation of 400 million shekels. Subsidiaries: In 2013, the company acquired Q.Rity Quality Security Solutions Ltd., which concentrates the company's cyber and call center activities. In July 2022, the company completed the acquisition of 51% of EPR Systems Ltd., which deals with software for local authorities, and in February 2023 exercised an option to purchase an additional 9% of EPR. In January 2023, the company acquired full ownership of Bar Technologies (D.S.) Ltd., which supplies and implements information systems and provides consulting services in the real estate sector, including engineering planning, urban planning, and asset planning, for local authorities in Israel and other bodies. In November 2024, TSG acquired ARTS, which provides electronic systems for real-time hardware and software testing for the defense sector. In December 2024, TSG acquired Puzzle, which specializes in managing complex projects for the defense and civilian markets. In October 2025, the subsidiary Bar Technologies acquired A.S.D. Asset Management for approximately 44 million shekels.
