TRYSET

TRYSET (トライセット) is a Japanese adult PC game brand operated by Yugen Kaisha Position. It was founded by former staff of the bankrupt company Grand Blue, including the illustrator Amano Mikken, and has been active since the early 2000s. The brand primarily releases full-price adventure games for Windows, with sub-labels TRYSET Light, TRYSET Break, and TRYSET MAD handling low-price titles. Its best-known work is the 'Yarasete! Teacher' (やらせてっ！てぃーちゃー) series, an older-woman/younger-boy themed franchise that began in 2003. The series was temporarily concluded in 2015 with 'Yarasete! Teacher Graduation' after Amano Mikken left the brand, but was revived with the 'Yarasete! Teacher Returns' series featuring illustrator Minoru. TRYSET games are distributed via download sales through NET RIDE and also released on DVD Players Game (DVDPG) through partners such as Dennou CLUB, Blueberry Soft, and N43 Project. The brand maintains an official website and social media presence, including a mascot character 'Toraisetto-chan' on Twitter.

TRYSET was established by Amano Mikken and other former staff of the bankrupt company Grand Blue (有限会社グランブルー), which went bankrupt in 2001. The brand is operated by Yugen Kaisha Position. Its first release was 'Spiritual Bind: Rakuen no Genei' on June 28, 2002. The brand quickly gained attention with the release of 'Yarasete! Teacher' on December 12, 2003, an older-woman/younger-boy themed adventure game that became a long-running series. Over the years, TRYSET expanded with sub-labels: TRYSET Light for low-price titles (first release 'Tsuma Koukan' on September 25, 2009), TRYSET MAD for low-price titles (first release 'Aiyoku MAD Saimin' on May 30, 2014), and TRYSET Break for low-price titles (first release 'Nikuyoku Devil Saimin' on August 30, 2013). The brand celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2007 with a digest pack, and its 10th anniversary in 2012 with a limited pack containing 10 works. In 2015, Amano Mikken left TRYSET, and the 'Yarasete! Teacher' series was concluded with 'Yarasete! Teacher Graduation' on December 25, 2015. However, the series was revived in 2023 with 'Yarasete! Teacher Returns' on April 28, 2023, featuring illustrator Minoru, who had joined the company after working on 'Yarasete! Teacher' and later illustrated 'Hitozuma Gakuen'. The brand continues to release new titles, with upcoming releases scheduled for 2025 and 2026.
