Overview
Trinity, Inc. (トリニティ株式会社) is a Japanese fabless manufacturer and seller of mobile-device and computer accessories, headquartered in Niiza, Saitama. Founded in May 2006 in a single apartment room in Niiza, the company began by importing and selling Apple and computer peripherals. It has since grown into a planner, developer and seller of its own accessory brands, with a stated mission of 'Enriching Digital Life' — breaking down the wall between people and digital technology. The company's business spans the planning, manufacturing and sale of mobile-device and computer accessories, as well as cloud-service sales. Its best-known in-house brand is Simplism, launched in October 2007 under the concept of 'a little something extra within simplicity.' Trinity has also experimented with lifestyle and smart-home products, including the NuAns brand (introduced in 2015 and now discontinued) and a plant-monitoring device that tracks weight changes to signal watering timing. Its product range today focuses on screen-protection films and tempered glass, protective cases, Apple Watch bands and other smartphone accessories, sold through electronics retailers, e-commerce sites and its own online store. Trinity is a small but established player: as of its April 2026 fiscal year it reported capital of 100 million yen, sales of 7.08 billion yen and 28 employees. It works with major Japanese distribution and telecom partners including NTT Docomo, KDDI, Rakuten Mobile, SB C&S and others. In April 2024 it entered a capital and business alliance with Ant Capital Partners for business succession purposes, and in May 2025 Yohei Yamamoto became Representative Director and President, with Taku Sato as Vice President. The company has also received recognition for health management and women's advancement, including 'Bright 500' and the highest three-star 'Eruboshi' certification.
History
Trinity, Inc. was founded in May 2006 in a single room of an apartment in Niiza, Saitama, starting as an importer and seller of Apple and computer peripherals. In October 2007 the company launched its original brand Simplism, built around the concept of 'a little something extra within simplicity.' Over the following years Trinity expanded beyond importing into agency work for overseas brands such as Jawbone, and into the manufacture and sale of Android smartphones, operating within an ecosystem centered on smartphones. In April 2015 the company introduced NuAns, a brand aimed at offering comfort rather than mere convenience in modern lifestyles; it is now discontinued. In November 2015 Trinity held a launch event for the NuAns NEO, a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone, and in February 2017 it held a launch event for the NuAns NEO [Reloaded], an Android 7 smartphone. In April 2020, responding to mask shortages, the company sold 'cost-price masks' via a lottery system. In November 2022 it brought the mobile game app company Eureka Studio into its group. In March 2023 it was first certified as a 'Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization 2023' in the Bright 500 category for small and medium-sized enterprises. In April 2024 Trinity entered a capital and business alliance with Ant Capital Partners for the purpose of business succession, and sold Eureka Studio as part of that alliance. In May 2025 Yohei Yamamoto became Representative Director and President, and Taku Sato became Vice President. Today Trinity operates as a fabless manufacturer that plans and sells its own brands, focusing on smartphone accessories such as screen-protection films and glass, cases and Apple Watch bands, while also selling cloud services. It positions itself as a bridge between digital and life, and between suppliers and customers, and aims to combine Japanese technology and materials with its products to create new value.
