Trigun Stampede

Trigun Stampede is a Japanese anime television brand based on Yasuhiro Nightow's manga Trigun, which was serialized from 1995 to 2007. The series is a reboot of the Trigun franchise, reimagining the story with modern 3DCG animation. It premiered in 2023 and is produced as a high-profile television anime, distinguished by its detailed 3DCG visuals and large-scale storytelling. The official website describes it as a 'newborn Trigun' that was released to the world in 2023, using the latest 3DCG technology to craft overwhelming visual beauty and a level of passion and scale not typical of TV anime, appealing not only to existing fans but to many anime fans broadly. The story is set on a desert planet and follows Vash the Stampede, a gunman who has sworn not to kill, and his struggles to uphold his ideals. The 2023 series Trigun Stampede serves as a reimagining of the original manga's world. The official site's introduction notes that the original manga Trigun, serialized from 1995 to 2007, remains beloved worldwide for its grand, meticulously built worldview and the battles and conflicts of Vash the Stampede. In 2026, a sequel and concluding chapter titled Trigun Stargaze was announced. According to the official website, Trigun Stargaze is set two and a half years after the events of Trigun Stampede and will depict the conclusion of the ideal that one man continued to wish for. The story follows Meryl, now a senior reporter, and her junior Milly as they continue searching for Vash and reunite with Nicholas, while Plant theft incidents begin again with signs of Millions Knives' faction. Meanwhile, Vash, living quietly under the name Eriks in a frontier town, is approached by a girl named Jessica who brings an SOS from the third ship 'Home.' As their fates interlock and the story moves again, a communication pours in from beyond space: 'We are an immigrant fleet from Earth. Those who wish can head with us to a new world.' Amid rising joy and excitement, a revived one-winged angel brings despair and fear, and on a planet in a frenzy, fate finally reaches its conclusion. The brand operates primarily as an anime television property with related merchandise, music, home video (Blu-ray), and events. The official website includes sections for news, movie, introduction and story, characters, episodes, staff and cast, music, on-air information, Blu-ray, goods, and special content. It also promotes official social media channels on X, YouTube, and TikTok. Recent news items on the official site include a Trigun Stargaze drink stand at Stellamap Cafe, a collaboration with Karaoke no Tetsujin, and original label cans released on July 22. The property is managed by its production committee and rights holders, though specific corporate ownership details are not provided in the available evidence.
