History

Codina Grup was established in 1955. The work of three generations has consolidated the company as an integral logistics operator. In 1976, Transports Codina was legally constituted as a S.A. company with headquarters in Tona. In the same year, it also established itself in Zaragoza in a 1,200 m2 warehouse. In 1980, the third platform in Olot was inaugurated with 2,500 m2. Between 1998 and 2000, the company grew and incorporated new services and a new platform in Valencia. In 2015, Transports Codina began a commitment to specialization towards the logistics chain of the food product, obtaining IFS Logistic certification and CCPAE Ecological Warehouse certification. The third generation, Lluís Codina and Sílvia Codina, joined the company. In 2021, the new Frozen Logistics Platform was inaugurated, expanding temperature-controlled and refrigerated logistics, tripling its capacity. By 2025, the company aims to triple its international presence and comply with the Sustainable Development Goals according to the 2030 Agenda.
