Torbreck Vintners is a Barossa Valley winery established in 1994, taking inspiration from France's Rhône Valley while championing the Barossa's viticultural heritage. It champions the classic Barossa varietals of Shiraz, Grenache and Mataro, with deliberately hands-off and traditional winemaking. Its wines include The Laird, RunRig and Les Amis.

Torbreck Vintners was established in 1994. The winery takes inspiration from France's Rhône Valley while championing the rich viticultural heritage of the Barossa. It was founded on a vision to honour and rejuvenate the Barossa Valley's old vineyards, ensuring their survival for future generations. The name Torbreck comes from a forest near Inverness, Scotland, and the winery's naming conventions include a reference to the "RunRig" system of land distribution among Highland clansmen.

Aims to build one of the finest wine estates in the world and to be among the world's leading wine producers, with a philosophy of authenticity and respect for time-honoured craft.

• The Laird 2021 Shiraz

  A Shiraz from a south-facing vineyard planted in 1958, nestled in the ridge between Seppeltsfield and Marananga, yielding low quantities of small, concentrated berries and a powerful, luxurious wine that can be cellared for decades.

• RunRig 2023

  A blend of Shiraz from old dry grown Barossa vineyards with Viognier, often compared to wines from Côte Rôtie and Hermitage.

• Les Amis 2023

  A single-vineyard Grenache sourced from low-yielding, dry-grown vines in western Greenock, described as pure, intense and finessed.
