Thon Gruppen

Thon Gruppen is a Norwegian group that develops and owns properties, operates hotels and shopping centers, and has been active for over 70 years. It owns over 90 hotels and more than 70 shopping centers, employing over 7,000 people in five countries. The group is owned by a foundation.

Thon Gruppen has been developing properties and local communities for over 70 years. Since 1950, the portfolio has grown from Olav Thon's first investment in the property Karl Johans gate 5-7 to about 500 properties in Norway, Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands today.
