History

The Coffee House at West End is located in a historic building built in 1930 by West End Baptist Church. The building originally served as a three-story church facility for Sunday School for about 40 years. It fell into disrepair in the early 1980s and later served as a food pantry and a place for families to get secondhand clothes and household items before being shuttered in the 2000s. The building sat mostly dormant for over two decades. In 2015, West End Baptist Church merged with River Pointe Church, and West End Church was founded. Five years later, West End Church began a major redesign to create a community space while maintaining the historical nature. In October 2021, The Coffee House at West End was brought to life.
