Texas Port Recycling buys all types of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals at each of its recycling locations. It was formed in February 2006 when The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ) purchased the business and assets of Northwest Recycling. In 2007, TPR opened a new processing site on the Houston Ship Channel, home of Houston's largest automobile shredder. In 2008, DJJ joined Nucor's family of companies. Today, TPR operates 4 scrap metal recycling facilities in Texas.
History
