It focuses on news, current affairs and social topics related to Poznań and the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) region, and its programming is also available nationally with selected operators. The station is part of the WTK Media Group, which also includes the news portal WTK.pl and the production house FilmLab. Since September 2025, its broadcaster has belonged to MWE Networks. WTK broadcasts in HD and 16:9 format, and is distributed via cable networks and IPTV, including Vectra and Play, as well as online through WTK.pl and social media channels. History
Telewizja WTK began broadcasting on 21 November 1996 as Wielkopolska Telewizja Kablowa (Greater Poland Cable Television). In 2003 it changed its profile to a local information television, developing daily news services, public affairs, sports, cultural and social programmes. In 2004 its Puls Dnia news service received the Kryształowy Ekran (Crystal Screen) award in the 'To nas dotyczy' competition organised by the National Chamber of Commerce for Cable Communications. In 2005 WTK launched the epoznan.pl portal. In 2007 the editorial office moved to a cinema complex in the Żegrze area of Poznań. From 30 August 2010 the station broadcast in 16:9 format, and on 3 September 2018 it began broadcasting in HD. In the same year, the former WTK Play platform was transformed into the news portal WTK.pl. On 5 September 2025, MWE Media, a company from the MWE Networks group, bought 100% of the shares of Wielkopolska Telewizja Kablowa. The transaction covered the WTK channel, the WTK.pl portal and the production house FilmLab. It did not cover the epoznan.pl and ewarszawa.pl portals, which were separated into the company Press Lab and left with the previous shareholders. From December 2025, Karol Warda is the president of the management board. After the ownership changes, it was announced that FilmLab would be separated into a standalone production company and that production facilities in Poznań would be expanded. Magdalena Błaszczyk, previously programme director of Telewizja Puls, also joined MWE Networks with a broad range of editorial and programming responsibility. In March 2026, WTK rebuilt its evening programming according to a digital-first model: some programmes start online at 18:00 and after a quarter of an hour their broadcast continues on television. The block includes WTK Tłumaczy, WTK na Gorąco, WTK Wspomina and Puls Dnia, the evening news service broadcast at 20:00 and repeated at 22:00. In 2026 the schedule also included Otwarta antena, Wielkopolska z lotu ptaka, Mój Poznań, moja Wielkopolska, and weather and sports segments.
