Televisions Digitals Independents

Televisions Digitals Independents de Proximitat (TDIP) is an association of private local television broadcasters in Spain. Its membership is concentrated in Catalonia, with additional channels in the Balearic Islands and the Valencian Community, and at least one affiliated channel serving the Catalan-speaking community in Alghero, Italy. The association is headed by president Frederic Cano. Beyond television, the group has extended its local-media experience into radio through the creation of Emissores Catalanes Audiovisuals de Proximitat. TDIP functions as a cooperative network for small, proximity-oriented broadcasters, giving them shared representation and a common platform while each channel continues to serve its own local audience.
