Televisión Murciana

Televisión Murciana (TVM) was the first private television channel with regional scope in the Region of Murcia, Spain. It was constituted in 1994 and began broadcasting in 1995. The channel operated a 24-hour generalist schedule that included films, children's programming, documentaries, series, sports programs and music videos, much of it sourced through LifeTV. Its news bulletins, Noticias Televisión Murciana, aired daily at 14:00–14:30 and 20:00–20:30, alongside weekly programs such as ¡Tú Sabrás Summer!, Especial: DE GRANA Y ORO, Elite Murcia and Europa a un paso. Beyond its own channel, TVM also worked as an audiovisual content producer and a technology provider for live broadcasts and connections in the Region of Murcia, with 7TV, and in the Valencian Community with À Punt. It was never part of the public Ente Público Radiotelevisión de la Región de Murcia. The channel broadcast across the entire Region of Murcia on DTT channel 29. Its headquarters and production centre were located at Calle San Vicente de Paul, 6, 30100 Espinardo, Murcia. TVM definitively ceased its free-to-air DTT broadcasts on 31 March 2024 and formally renounced its broadcasting licence before the autonomous community. As a private regional broadcaster that has ended its emissions, it is now a defunct television brand.
