Teknologi Pendidikan ID

Teknologi Pendidikan ID (EDTECH-ID) is an Indonesian independent research organization and community focused on educational technology. It began in 2021 as a small team of two university students participating in a learning media competition. Recognizing that the field of educational technology was not widely known, they formed a student community to develop themselves and introduce the discipline to a broader audience. From 2022, EDTECH-ID expanded its activities to include training for prospective educators, online seminars, and application development. By the end of 2023, the founders decided to transform the organization into an independent research institution with a more strategic direction. EDTECH-ID brings together research, technology, and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen access and the learning ecosystem in Indonesia. It develops resources for researchers, designers, and learning technology developers. Its offerings include research and consulting services, strategic partnerships, and knowledge products such as the Journal of Educational Technology Studies and Applied Research, a scientific repository, and the Educational Technology Career Lab. It also operates the Pusat Informasi Teknologi Pendidikan (Wikia) at teknologipendidikan.id. The organization positions itself as a partner for solving learning problems across various organizations, aiming to realize a lifelong learning ecosystem for Indonesian citizens.
