Techbond Group Berhad is a Malaysian industrial adhesives manufacturer. Its business operations began in 1996 as a developer and manufacturer of industrial adhesives, and it holds ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification for its history and water-based adhesive manufacturing operations in Malaysia. The company operates business operations and manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and Vietnam, serving markets in Asian, African, Middle Eastern and European countries. Its industrial adhesives are used in manufacturing a variety of products, including wood-based products, paper and packaging products, cigarettes and cigarette packs, automotive applications, personal care products, mattresses as well as building and construction applications. Techbond owns several brands of industrial adhesives and related products, with registered trademarks including TECHBOND, KOMOTECH, STARBOND, INNOMELT, SONICBOND, HYDROMELT, ECONAILS and SONICFILL.

Techbond's history can be traced back to the establishment of Optima Machinery (M) Sdn Bhd in 1992, which subsequently changed its name to Techbond Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in 1993. Techbond Manufacturing Sdn Bhd was dormant until 1996, when business operations began as a developer and manufacturer of industrial adhesives. In the same year, the company manufactured its in-house developed water-based adhesive for woodworking applications, such as finger jointing. Techbond (Sabah) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1996, focused on selling and marketing products and providing customer support to customers in Sabah. The company recorded its first export sales in 1996 when it sold its water-based adhesives for woodworking to China. Since its business operations began in 1996, Techbond has established itself as a developer and manufacturer of industrial adhesives with business operations and manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and Vietnam, serving markets in Asian, African, Middle Eastern and European countries. Techbond is one of the 14 Malaysian brand award winners in 2010.
