Team Trafikk AS was a Norwegian bus company based in Trondheim. It was created in 2001 through the merger of Trondheim Trafikkselskap, the municipally owned operator serving Trondheim, and Hemne Orkladal Billag, a bus company based in Kyrksæterøra and associated with Orkla. The merger combined Trondheim's urban public-transport operation with regional bus activities in the surrounding area. The company operated scheduled bus services under public-service arrangements supported by subsidies from the City of Trondheim. Its network was organized around a central interchange at Munkegata and Dronningens gate in Trondheim. Most urban routes passed through this downtown terminal, allowing passengers to connect between services. Single-digit routes generally functioned as cross-city or pendulum routes, running through the center between opposite sides of the city, while two-digit routes were primarily radial services linking the center with individual districts. Several circular services operated in opposing directions, including pairs such as routes 60 and 20 and routes 66 and 36. The network also included route 63, which replaced the former tram route 3 between Singsaker and Trondheim Central Station. Team Trafikk's principal business was the operation of scheduled city and regional buses rather than the manufacture or retailing of vehicles. The company also operated tram-related public transport in Trondheim's network context, although the surviving tram service, Gråkallbanen, was distinct from the ordinary bus routes. By 2005, the company was reported to have approximately 225 buses and 600 employees. Its reported revenue was about NOK 270 million for that year, and daily ridership was approximately 70,000 passengers. These figures describe the scale of the operator during the Team Trafikk period and are not current financial or operating figures. Following its formation, the two former owners of the merged companies sold their interests to Nettbuss, a subsidiary of Norwegian State Railways. Nettbuss subsequently separated the non-Trondheim activities from the city operation. The regional activities were transferred to Nettbuss Trøndelag AS, while the Trondheim operation remained in Team Trafikk. This structure made Team Trafikk a locally focused operating company within the broader Nettbuss organization. The Team Trafikk name ended as a corporate operating identity on 1 January 2011, when the company was renamed Nettbuss Trondheim AS. In September 2011, Nettbuss Trondheim was merged into Nettbuss Trøndelag. Team Trafikk is therefore best understood as a historical Trondheim public-transport brand rather than an active independent operator. Its legacy lies in the consolidation of municipal and regional bus operations, the development of a hub-based urban route network, and the transition of Trondheim bus services into the Nettbuss structure.

Team Trafikk originated in the consolidation of two Norwegian bus operators. Trondheim Trafikkselskap was the municipally owned operator responsible for bus transport in Trondheim, while Hemne Orkladal Billag was based in Kyrksæterøra and connected with Orkla. In 2001, the two organizations were merged to form Team Trafikk AS. The new company combined an established urban network in Trondheim with regional operations serving communities outside the city. Its public-transport role was supported by subsidies from the City of Trondheim, reflecting the importance of scheduled bus services as part of the local transport system rather than as a purely commercial intercity operation. After the merger, the former owners sold their shares to Nettbuss, the bus subsidiary of Norwegian State Railways. Nettbuss reorganized the business so that the non-Trondheim activities were transferred to Nettbuss Trøndelag AS, while the Trondheim operation continued under the Team Trafikk name. This left Team Trafikk focused primarily on urban transport in Trondheim. The company's route structure centered on a downtown interchange at Munkegata and Dronningens gate. Most city routes passed through this terminal, with a network design combining cross-city pendulum services, radial lines, and circular routes. Single-digit routes generally connected different parts of the city through the center. Two-digit routes typically ran from the central terminal to a particular district and returned. Circular routes, including paired services operating in opposite directions, provided orbital connections. Route 63 replaced tram line 3 on the Singsaker-to-Trondheim Central Station corridor. The city's remaining tram service, Gråkallbanen, was a separate element of Trondheim's public-transport system. The operator had reached substantial scale by 2005. The change ended Team Trafikk as a separate operating brand and completed the integration of its Trondheim activities into the regional Nettbuss structure.
