Overview

Tanta Roba is an Italian independent record label specialising in hip-hop, founded in 2011 by DJ and producer Harsh (Daniele Negri) and rapper Guè Pequeno. Based in Milan, the label emerged from the Dogo Gang collective and takes its name from a 2009 Club Dogo song. It operates as part of DJ Harsh's company Zona Uno. The label's first signed artist was Fedez, and its roster has included prominent Italian rappers such as Salmo, Ensi, Gemitaiz, MadMan, and the trap group Troupe d'élite (which later spawned Ghali and Ernia). In 2014 Tanta Roba entered a licensing agreement with major label Universal Music Italia, under which several releases were distributed. The label's catalogue includes Gemitaiz's albums "L'Unico Compromesso" (2012), "Nonostante Tutto" (2016) and its reloaded edition, MadMan's "Doppelganger" (2015), and the first 45 rpm vinyl single "Giù (Resto Qua) / Fabio Volo" (2016). Tanta Roba remains an active independent label in the Italian hip-hop scene.
