Overview
TAKEDA iP HOLDINGS (竹田iPホールディングス株式会社) is a Japanese holding company that oversees a group primarily engaged in commercial printing, digital solutions, and related manufacturing. The group's origins date to January 1924, when it was founded as 'Takeda Shoten Printing Department' in Nagoya. Over the decades it grew into Takeda Printing Co., Ltd., a company known for planning, designing, and printing catalogs, pamphlets, books, and other commercial publications. In April 2023, the operating company transitioned to a holding company structure: the first-generation Takeda Printing Co., Ltd. changed its name to TAKEDA iP HOLDINGS, and a newly renamed second-generation Takeda Printing Co., Ltd. took over the operating business. The group is headquartered in Showa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and operates through several business segments. Its core printing business serves commercial clients with catalogs, brochures, and publications. It has expanded into digital solutions, mail-order sales of stationery and daily necessities, and specialized manufacturing through subsidiaries. Notable subsidiaries include Process Lab Micron Co., Ltd., which designs and manufactures metal masks for bumping, and Tokyo Process Service Co., Ltd. The group also has a joint venture with Yomiuri Shimbun's Chubu bureau, Tokai Print Media Co., Ltd., and maintains operations in China through Shanghai Takeda Packaging Printing Technology Co., Ltd. and other entities. The company has been listed on Japanese stock exchanges since 1996, when it listed on the Nagoya Stock Exchange Second Section. It later listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Second Section in 2018. The group continues to operate multiple production sites, including the Nagoya headquarters and Chubu Division, Techno Center, Komaki Logistics Center, Takatsuji Factory, and Studio ACE1 in Aichi; the Kanto Division with Koshigaya and Hatogaya factories in Saitama and Tokyo; and the Kansai Division with Osaka Office and Ota Factory in Osaka. Through its holding company structure, TAKEDA iP HOLDINGS aims to manage a diversified portfolio of printing, digital, and precision manufacturing businesses.
