Taipei Book Fair Foundation

The Taipei Book Fair Foundation is a foundation registered on February 25, 2004 (Minguo 93), with a fund of NT$10 million raised by 18 domestic publishing-related enterprises. Its stated purposes are to promote reading culture, facilitate international exchanges, and enhance publishing professionalism. It has organized the Taipei International Book Exhibition from 2005 to 2024 and has managed Taiwan pavilions at various international book fairs.

The foundation was established on February 25, 2004 (Minguo 93) with a fund of NT$10 million raised by 18 domestic publishing-related enterprises. It was created to integrate cultural resources and establish a permanent institution for the Taipei International Book Fair. It has organized the Taipei International Book Exhibition from 2005 to 2024, and has managed Taiwan pavilions at international book fairs including the Bologna Children's Book Fair (2006-2016, 2018-2024), the Frankfurt Book Fair (2006-2023), the Guadalajara International Book Fair (2013-2023), the Seoul International Book Fair (2006-2024), and the 2011 France Chambéry Comic Festival.
