Tŷ Seidr

Tŷ Seidr Bar & Bottle Shop is an independent cider bar and bottle shop located in the heart of Aberystwyth, Wales. The venue describes itself as a home for craft cider, offering over 100 different craft ales and ciders alongside more than 100 board games for customers to enjoy on-site. It operates as a drink-in and take-away establishment, also selling merchandise. The bar has been part of Aberystwyth's craft cider scene for over ten years, according to its own account, and is owned by Ffion Roberts. In 2026 it was named CAMRA Champion Cider Bar of Wales, an award presented by the Campaign for Real Ale. The business has expanded into cider production with its own branded cider, Tŷ Seidr Tropical, developed in collaboration with a Somerset cider producer and available to trade customers through Eebria Trade. The venue also offers gift vouchers redeemable against products and services at the bar. Tŷ Seidr occupies a Grade II listed building in Ceredigion, at the top of a street on the corner with Alfred Place, set into the slope. The bar's opening hours vary by day, typically opening in the evening. Its combination of an extensive cider and ale selection with a large board game library positions it as a community-focused leisure destination rather than a conventional pub.
