Tàndem Edicions is a Valencian publishing house founded in Valencia in 1990 by a group of people linked to children's and young adult literature. It is one of the most significant imprints in the Valencian literary scene and in the Catalan-language publishing world. The publisher is committed to Valencian authors while also incorporating prestigious international authors into its catalogue, which has included nearly 1,000 titles and has opened paths to Latin American countries. Tàndem Edicions began with collections such as Quaderns de Literatura Infantil i Juvenil, La rata Marieta, the El Tàndem de la Memòria collection, and the major novelistic production of writer Enric Valor with El Cicle de Casana. It has stood out in illustrated and children's books and for the originality of its titles and collections, such as Filosofia per a profans by Maite Larrauri with illustrations by Max. In 2012, editor Rosa Serrano retired as director. Àfrica Ramírez Olmos took over as editorial director, and Amparo Sena Serrano continued as general director.
