Szpadyzor Records is a Polish independent record label specialising in hip-hop music. It was established in 2009 in Poznań, based on an idea by the rapper Piotr "DonGURALesko" Górny, with Michał Kwiatek — associated with the concert agency Jaguar — as the company's founder. The label became a notable outlet for Poznań and wider Polish hip-hop, releasing music by artists such as donGURALesko, Waldemar Kasta, DJ Soina, Rafi, RY23, Shellerini, Kaczor and Gruby Mielzky. The label's first release was the mixtape "Inwazja porywaczy ciał" by Gural and Matheo, premiered on 1 July 2009. Music videos were produced for the tracks "Wznieście ręce w powietrze", "Ekwador" and "Idziemy po swoje". In February 2010 the album was nominated in the "Podsumowanie 2009" poll by Poznanskirap.com in the album of the year category. In November 2009 the label issued Ramona 23's debut album "Uliczny flowklor", promoted by videos for "Uliczny flowklor" and "Czekając na cud/Płoną wersy". On 13 November 2009 the first solo album by Waldemar Kasta, "13", premiered, produced entirely by Matheo; it debuted at number 50 on the Polish OLiS chart. In early December 2009 the compilation "Black X-Mas 3" featuring artists associated with the label was released. In 2010 the label put out three albums: donGURALesko's "Totem leśnych ludzi", Kaczor's "Przyjaźń, duma, godność" and Marian Wielkopolski's "High Quality". The donGURALesko album debuted at number 1 on the OLiS chart. In early 2011 the debut album "PDG" by Gawrosz — the Poznań rapper Shellerini, a member of the duo WSRH — appeared and reached number 10 on OLiS. A few months later DJ Soina's first mixtape "Kręci mnie vinyl" was released. On 29 July 2011 Rafi's debut album "200 ton" came out on the label. At the end of 2011 another Gural album, "Zaklinacz deszczu", was released, while on 17 March 2012 Ramona 23's next solo album "Magiczne pióro" appeared. On 12 October 2012 the label premiered Gruby Mielzky's debut album "Silny jak nigdy, wkurwiony jak zwykle". In 2019 the label began signing its releases under the name "Shpady"; the first album issued under the new banner was "Latające ryby" by donGURALesko. The label remains an independent Polish hip-hop imprint.
